On mine I personally replaced the roms in folders 1 2 3 5 7 10 12 17 (changing PAL to NTSC) 18 (Rainbow 6 to Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2), so those were the folders that i kept on the drive in the /gaadata/ sub-directory, edited the db in /gaadata/databases to reflect the games i replaced using DB browser for SQL lite in both the DISC and GAME sections of the database under the Browse Data Catagory This is important because if you mess up, you can fix it later with the back up.ĪFTER BACKING THE FILES UP TO A SAFE LOCATION SUCH AS YOUR LOCAL PC HDD, replace the files on your USB drive that you would like to replace leaving the folder structure intact, then delete the things (such as the games you are not replacing), as they will do nothing but extend the amount of time it takes to flash new games to the system. MAKE A COPY OF THE FOLDER BEFORE PROCEEDING!!! The process takes quite some time as it backs up ~15gb of data to the drive, after which you will have a new folder on the flash drive, called gaadata I made a backup of the system using a 16GB or larger USB/SD card using by replacing the text in the original lolhack.sh with: #!/bin/sh So i used one of the older lolhack scripts and a VERY minimal understanding of linux to create my own scripts for replacing Rainbow 6 with THPS 2 and the PAL games with their US counterparts PSC must first be capable of loading code, I used bleemsync to perform the initial mod from a USB drive with an activity light to be sure of if it was being accessed and also performed the USB current mod prior to powering the console on to remove the current limits from the front usb's on the PSC, after the bleemsync mond was installed i then formatted the usb drive to FAT32 I am not responsible for any harm to your system using any of the information contained in this post.
